The K Kiosk is a much beloved Swiss institution. As the SBB called for tenders for all 262 kiosk and convenience outlets, Studio Frey was commissioned on behalf of Valora Schweiz AG to create a fresh and innovative look for the K Kiosk interiors to submit to the SBB.
Our design for the new K Kiosks makes use of very minimal colour and material palette; a mix of whites, light greys, shiny chrome, concrete and natural oak. The counter has a striking design and works as a stand-alone object which elevates this new generation of K Kiosk without losing its identity.
We were very proud that as of 25th April 2019 Valora won the SBB call for tenders for all 262 locations and that our design for the stores will get rolled out nationwide, with refurbishments starting in the second half of 2019.
